November 17, 2025: McKinney, TX 75069 McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX), 76-63 in a non-league contest.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Mavericks go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Emerson was toppled by West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 20. Royse City will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 87-48 non-league loss to Braswell (Little Elm, TX).
