Alabama High School Basketball - Oxford tops Plainview
November 18, 2021: Oxford, AL 36203 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) and the visiting Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL), saw Oxford's basketball squad knock off Plainview by a count of 69-59.
With the victory, Oxford upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Springville (Springville, AL) to play the Tigers in a 6A Area 13 challenge on Friday, December 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Bears play the Gadsden City Titans (Gadsden, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 20. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 86-67 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL).
