November 18, 2021: Danville, CA 94506 The Athenian Owls basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Fremont Christian Warriors to 29 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Owls now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quarry Lane for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9.
The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the Bay Counties - General contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, California School for the Deaf was nudged by Holy Names (Oakland, CA), 32-29, in a league contest.
