North Carolina High School Basketball - Forsyth Country Day tops Asheville Christian Academy
November 18, 2022: Swannanoa, NC 28778 Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC), 56-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Forsyth Country Day upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Furies travel to University Christian (Hickory, NC) to play the Barracudas in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Barracudas come into the bout with a record of 0-3. University Christian lost 71-22 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Lions play the Greensboro Day School Bengals (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Asheville Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bengals come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 56-54 non-league win over Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC).
