North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina Friends tops East Wake Academy
November 18, 2022: Zebulon, NC 27597 Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), 69-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Carolina Friends upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Harrells Christian Academy won 55-16 in their recent non-league bout against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC)
Next up, the Eagles play the Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. East Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Griffins come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 88-37 non-league loss to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC).
