Kelton Lions (Wheeler, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cotton Center Elks (Cotton Center, TX), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kelton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Elks play the Lazbuddie Longhorns (Lazbuddie, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Cotton Center will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
