California High School Basketball - Poly knocked off by Damien
November 18, 2022: La Verne, CA 91750 The Damien Spartans basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Poly Bears to 38 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Mirada for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Damien will battle a Matadores team coming off a 76-68 non-league win over St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA). The Matadores record now stands at 3-1.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA). The Saints come into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, St. Anthony was knocked off by La Mirada (La Mirada, CA), 76-68, in a non-league bout.
