The East Central Hornets basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Pieper Warriors to 63 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highlands for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. East Central will battle a Owls team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Owls record now stands at 1-2.

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Jay was defeated by Highlands (San Antonio, TX), 61-51, in a non-league contest.
