The French Settlement Lions basketball squad scored 61 points and limited the visiting Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons to 33 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.

With the win, French Settlement upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions host Brusly (Brusly, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 28. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Falcons play the Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA) in a B District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Episcopal of Acadiana will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
