Texas High School Basketball - Red Oak can't hold off Wylie
November 18, 2022: Red Oak, TX 75154 The Wylie Pirates basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Red Oak Hawks to 50 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tyler Legacy for a non-league match on Monday, November 21. Wylie will meet a Raiders team coming off a 66-52 non-league loss to MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Red Oak moves to 3-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Guyer (Denton, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, November 19. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 3-1. Guyer lost 70-62 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Frisco, TX)
