Sidney Eagles (Sidney, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), 52-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sidney upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ranger (Ranger, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Ranger lost 58-22 in their recent non-league bout against Community Christian (Mineral Wells, TX)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Strawn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
