Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) and the host Corpus Christi Moody Trojans (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Rio Grande City's basketball squad hold off Corpus Christi Moody by a tally of 45-39.

With the victory, Rio Grande City improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 19. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Edinburg won 52-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmview (La Joya, TX)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 19. Corpus Christi Moody will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
