With the victory, Evant improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Jonesboro lost 38-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Holland (Holland, TX)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Gustine Tigers (Gustine, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Lometa will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
