Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) and the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), saw Hickory Ridge's basketball squad hold off Marvin Ridge by a tally of 67-66.

With the victory, Hickory Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Ragin' Bulls host Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
