Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA), 51-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lawrence Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors host Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Southampton Academy lost 28-18 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Columbia, NC)

Next up, the Kavaliers play the Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Kenston Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
