Texas High School Basketball - Weatherford nips Martin
November 18, 2022: Weatherford, TX 76087 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) and the visiting Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX), saw Weatherford's basketball squad hold off Martin by a count of 51-44.
With the victory, Weatherford upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Kangaroos host Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Birdville won 28-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Emerson (McKinney, TX)
Next up, the Warriors play the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 21. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 55-23 non-league loss to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX).
