North Carolina High School Basketball - Atkins nips East Wilkes
November 18, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), saw Atkins's basketball squad hold off East Wilkes by a tally of 60-53.
With the victory, Atkins improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Camels host Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 28. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 25. East Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
