California High School Basketball - McFarland nudges South
November 18, 2022: Bakersfield, CA 93304 McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA), 31-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McFarland upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Tulare Union (Tulare, CA) to clash with the The Tribe in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The The Tribe go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Antelope Valley Antelopes (Lancaster, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Antelopes go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 37-34 non-league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA).
