Georgia High School Basketball - Athens Academy nudges New Hampstead
November 18, 2023: Athens, GA 30606 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA), by a margin of 48-46.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Athens Christian was tipped by Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 65-59, in a non-league outing.
The Phoenix now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Effingham County for a non-league outing on Monday, November 20.
