November 18, 2023: Sevierville, TN 37862 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) and the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN), saw Sevier County's basketball squad wallop Cocke County by a tally of 76-36.
With the victory, Sevier County improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Smoky Bears travel to Austin-East (Knoxville, TN) to confront the Roadrunners in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Austin-East won 88-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Karns (Knoxville, TN)
Next up, the Fighting Cocks confront the Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 20. Cocke County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 63-36 non-league loss to Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN).
