Georgia High School Basketball - Islands tops Savannah Classical Academy
November 18, 2023: Savannah, GA 31401 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) and the host Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA), saw Islands's basketball squad knock off Savannah Classical Academy by a count of 56-48.
With the victory, Islands upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Sharks host St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Spartans play the John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 20. Savannah Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Warrriors come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC).
