Texas High School Basketball - McAllen Memorial tipped by Katy
November 18, 2023: McAllen, TX 78501 The Katy Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and held the host McAllen Memorial Mustangs to 59 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Shore for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Katy will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to O'Connor (Helotes, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-3.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Nixon nudged Ray (Corpus Christi, TX), 69-62, in a non-league contest.
