The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Union Grove Christian Patriots to 44 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont contest on Friday, December 1.

The Patriots (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Durham, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian prevailed over Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 59-53, in a league contest.
