Illinois High School Basketball - Amboy tops Rockford Christian
November 18, 2023: Amboy, IL 61310 Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL), 65-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Amboy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to St. Edward (Elgin, IL) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Green Wave come into the bout with a record of 1-1. St. Edward lost 53-48 in their recent non-league bout against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL)
Next up, the Royal Lions play the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Rockford Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL).
