Texas High School Basketball - Paint Creek overwhelmed by Baird
November 18, 2023: Haskell, TX 79521 The Baird Bears basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Paint Creek Pirates to 19 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Baird will battle a Indians team coming off a 35-29 non-league loss to Llano (Llano, TX). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Trent (Trent, TX). The Gorillas come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Trent overwhelmed Panther Creek (Valera, TX), 55-11, in a non-league bout.
