Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) and the host Buford Wolves (Buford, GA), saw Sequoyah's basketball squad hold off Buford by a tally of 52-49.

With the victory, Sequoyah improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA) to confront the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Johns Creek lost 69-42 in their recent non-league challenge against South Forsyth (Cumming, GA)

Next up, the Wolves confront the North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 20. Buford will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 45-42 non-league win over Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).
