November 18, 2023: South Beloit, IL 61080 The Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI) basketball nipped the host South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL), 39-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Big Foot (Walworth, WI). The Chiefs go into the Rock Valley test with a 0-0 record.
The Sobos now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hiawatha for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. South Beloit will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 39-28 non-league win over Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
