November 18, 2023: Kemp, TX 75143 Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX), 57-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ferris upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. LaPoynor lost 48-44 in their recent non-league bout against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Athens Hornets (Athens, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Kemp will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 79-25 non-league loss to Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX).
