November 18, 2023: Corpus Christi, TX 78418 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX) and the host Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Godley's basketball squad hold off Flour Bluff by a tally of 64-61.
With the victory, Godley improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to China Spring (China Spring, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. China Spring lost 44-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Grandview (Grandview, TX)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 21. Flour Bluff will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 45-36 non-league win over Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX).
