November 18, 2023: Austin, TX 78724 The Hutto Hippos basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors to 32 in the Hippos non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hippos now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Rock Westwood for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Hutto will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-41 non-league win over Austin (Austin, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 5-6.
The Raptors (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eastside Early College (Austin, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region III District 24 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Eastside Early College was defeated by Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX), 57-41, in a non-league contest.
