California High School Basketball - Newport Harbor holds off La Quinta
November 18, 2023: Westminster, CA 92683 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the host La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA), saw Newport Harbor's basketball squad hold off La Quinta by a tally of 33-30.
With the victory, Newport Harbor improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Aztecs confront the Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 20. La Quinta will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 28-25 non-league loss to Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA).
