Texas High School Basketball - Northwest knocked off by Sherman
November 18, 2023: Sherman, TX 75090 The Sherman Bearcats basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Northwest Texans to 36 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bearcats now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pottsboro for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Sherman will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.
The Texans (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Rock Hill ran past Lewisville (Lewisville, TX), 48-47, in a non-league contest.
