Indiana High School Basketball - Northeastern holds off Blackford

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) and the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), saw Northeastern's basketball squad hold off Blackford by a tally of 39-36.

With the victory, Northeastern improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Jay County (Portland, IN) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Jay County lost 24-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Converse, IN)

Next up, the Bruins confront the Bluffton Tigers (Bluffton, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Blackford will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 51-35 non-league win over Mississinewa (Gas City, IN).
