Indiana High School Basketball - Valparaiso fells Columbia City
November 18, 2023: Valparaiso, IN 46385 Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN), 42-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valparaiso upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Vikings host Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to play the Pirates in a bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Merrillville lost 53-22 in their recent non-league bout against Northridge (Middlebury, IN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Goshen RedHawks (Goshen, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Columbia City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The RedHawks go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 26-16 non-league win over Westview (Topeka, IN).
