California High School Basketball - Del Norte nips Steele Canyon
November 18, 2023: San Diego, CA 92127 Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 24-21 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Del Norte upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Pacific Ridge Firebird (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
