Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), 48-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Richland County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Pana (Pana, IL) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 19. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Maroons now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teutopolis for a non-league match on Wednesday, November 20.
