Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 62-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fairmont advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league contest on Friday, November 21.
