California High School Basketball - St. John Bosco nips Mayfair

November 18, 2025: Bellflower, CA 90706

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. John Bosco Braves basketball team scored a close 68-66 win over the Mayfair Monsoons.

The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Wolverines enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Harvard-Westlake tipped San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA), 55-52, in a non-league match.

The Monsoons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sage Hill for a non-league match on Saturday, November 29. Mayfair will battle a Lightning team coming off a 75-42 non-league loss to Bonita (La Verne, CA). The Lightning record now stands at 1-1.
