November 18, 2025: Sanderson, TX 79848 Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team bounce the visiting Big Bend Roadrunners (Terlingua, TX), 72-17 in a non-league game.
The Eagles now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Fort Davis for a non-league game on Friday, November 21. Sanderson will confront a Indians team coming off a 23-16 non-league loss to Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Big Bend falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Dell City (Dell City, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 1A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, December 9. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 0-0.
