November 18, 2025: Watson, LA 70706 The Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) basketball toppled the visiting Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), 51-39 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael for a non-league bout on Thursday, November 20. Live Oak will play a Warriors team coming off a 58-56 non-league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
The Tornadoes (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Springfield beat West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA), 59-41, in a non-league test.
