November 18, 2025: El Paso, TX 79912 Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX), 28-26 in a non-league contest.
The Thunderbirds (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against El Paso (El Paso, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last match, El Paso got by Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 38-34, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastlake for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. Canutillo will face a Falcons squad coming off a 44-23 non-league win over El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 3-0.
