November 18, 2025: Ponchatoula, LA 70454 Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) boosters went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Pope John Paul II moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 22. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Denham Springs won 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against Northshore (Slidell, LA)
Next up, the Green Wave play the Providence Classical Academy Knights (Bossier City, LA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, November 21. Ponchatoula will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA).
