Tennessee High School Basketball - Fairley overwhelmed by Melrose
November 19, 2021: Memphis, TN 38114 The Melrose Golden Wildcats basketball team scored 92 points and restricted the visiting Fairley Bulldogs to 60 in the Golden Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Golden Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. Melrose will battle a Warriors team coming off a 66-30 non-league loss to Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian Academy was routed by McNairy Central (Selmer, TN), 59-51, in a non-league contest.
