The Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) football edged the visiting Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS), 23-20 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rockets face the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 26. Neshoba Central will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Green Wave enter the bout with a 10-0 record after their 42-6 non-league win over Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS).
