California High School Basketball - Centennial holds off Loyola
November 19, 2022: Los Angeles, CA 90006 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA), saw Centennial's basketball squad hold off Loyola by a tally of 71-70.
With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Golden Hawks travel to Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 23. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cubs confront the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 23. Loyola will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 43-41 non-league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
