The University Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Ignite Eagles Eagles to 52 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league contest on Monday, November 21. University will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-3.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Temple (Temple, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Temple ran past University (Waco, TX), 76-18, in a non-league contest.
