November 19, 2022: Cleburne, TX 76033 The Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) basketball knocked off the host Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX), 42-30 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Sweetwater notched a victory over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX), 40-27, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Mansfield Timberview for a 5A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, November 22. Cleburne will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 60-26 non-league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 7-2.
