The Avon Lake Shoremen basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Lorain Titans to 25 in the Shoremen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Shoremen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brunswick for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 23. Avon Lake will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 36-26 non-league win over Avon (Avon, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-0.

The Titans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shaw (East Cleveland, OH). The Cardinals enter the Lake Erie - Erie contest with a 0-1 record.
