Illinois High School Basketball - Coal City nudges Plainfield Central
November 19, 2022: Plainfield, IL 60544 Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 37-36 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Coalers face the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 game, on Monday, November 28. Coal City will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 49-33 non-league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
