The Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) basketball crushed the host Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX), 76-52 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Americas (El Paso, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the 6A Region I District 1 test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Americas walloped Holmes (San Antonio, TX), 64-50, in a non-league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Connally for a non-league test on Monday, November 21. Glenn will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Cadets record now stands at 5-0.
